A whole box in one evening. Not a week.
Snapping cards one at a time means long hours per box — so they just sit there, dead weight, and you’ve no real idea what they’re worth.
Why collectors choose PewPewScan
Built for large collections.
From a shoebox of unknowns to a catalog that always knows what it’s worth.
Easy, fast scanning.
Lay your cards out, sweep your camera once — a full box of 300 read in minutes, not one tap at a time.
The value of your
whole collection.
Every card gets a projected price based on real sold listings from eBay, Fanatics and COMC — and your whole collection totals to a single figure.
Regular value updates.
Keep an eye on how your collection’s value changes. Price data refreshes every day.
How it works
Three simple steps.
No sleeves, no sorting, no typing. Point your phone and let it read the table.
-
01 — Lay your cards out.
No need to line them up perfectly or sort them in any way. Spread a stack across the table and you’re ready.
-
02 — Sweep your camera across them.
Cards are read one after another — and recognized on the spot. Player, set, year and condition, all without a single tap.
-
03 — Each card drops into your catalog.
Complete with its photo, projected sold price and more — your whole collection, totaled and always up to date.
Turn a closet of mystery boxes

Questions, answered.
How fast is it, really?
Lay a stack out and sweep the camera over it once — cards are read one after another, with no tap per card. A 300-card box is minutes of sweeping, not an evening of snapping one photo at a time.
Do I have to sort or sleeve anything first?
No. Spread them across the table in any order and any direction, with a small gap between cards. Even, indirect light helps — glossy refractors read best with the light off to one side.
Where do the values come from?
From real sold listings on eBay, Fanatics Collect and COMC, matched to the exact card and parallel, with prices refreshed daily. They are projections, not appraisals — the condition of your specific copy isn’t part of the estimate. See the accuracy note.
What if a card comes back wrong?
Change the parallel or re-link the card from its detail screen, and the correction sticks. Fixing a card, adding a duplicate you already own, and editing anything by hand never cost a scan.
Does my collection leave my phone?
No. Your catalog and its photos live on the device, and there’s no account to create — the app identifies itself with a random ID, not with you. A card image is sent out only to be recognized and isn’t stored on our servers afterwards. Details in the Privacy Policy.
What does it cost?
The first 25 cards are free, with no credit card. After that scanning runs on a subscription — the plans are shown in the app before you buy. Your catalog stays readable and exportable to CSV whether you subscribe or not.
What do I need to run it?
An iPhone with an A12 Bionic chip or newer — that’s iPhone XS, XR and everything after — plus camera access and a connection while you scan. The app is English-only for now.
